Avet's stainless steel shielded ball bearings gives this reel incredible smoothness, increased casting distance and unmatched superior free spool. An oversized carbon fiber proprietary dry drag system gives Avet reels something that no other lever drag reel has, the ability to free spool at full drag setting! With a frame, spool and side plate fully machined (in the USA) from billet 6061-T6 aluminum stock, Avet reels have incredible strength and corrosion resistance which provides for long lasting durable and reliable performance.
